TalentVX Independent Interviewer
We are
currently selecting Independent Interviewers to experience the
interview from the other side of the desk…your desk at home. TalentVX has created technology that allows web based interviews to take place from anywhere with high speed Internet.We're looking for interviewers - we call them TalentVX Independent Interviewers - to run their own business, work their own hours, ask their own price per minute and to conduct interviews on behalf of TalentVX clients.
TalentVX Independent Interviewers will come from two backgrounds:
1. HR professionals or recruitment professionals with experience in interviewing, ideally degree qualified 2.
Specialists with in-depth knowledge of a chosen field, eg. accounting,
nursing, law, psychology, engineering, teaching, a trade etc, and with
a number of years experience in their specialist field and some
interviewing experience. |

How does it work?
An independent interviewer will be available via the TalentVX online schedule for around 60 hours or more per month. Candidates who have been notified by a recruiter or employer then choose a suitable timeslot for an interview and the Independent accepts or declines the interview timeslot within ideally 18 hours but it can be up to 36 hours. Once accepted, the Independent is supplied with a list of questions that are to be asked during the interview and are given the specific time allocation for this interview. The minimum time allocation is 25 minutes of recorded interview but allow 2.5 minutes either side of the recording for preparation and then to upload the interview.
Making yourself available for 60 hours a month does not necessarily mean that you’ll be working the full 60 hours a month. It means that you have broadened your availability to enable candidates to schedule an interview with you. Being flexible with your scheduling window will make you a popular choice for both candidates and recruiters.

What else do I need?
1. Fluency in written and spoken English with an easily understandable accent
2. A warm and enthusiastic personality
3. Time - 60 hours plus per month (can be anytime during the day or night as we operate every day in all time zones)
4. Dual processor PC with graphic accelerator card (not integrated graphic accelerated software)
5. A high speed Internet connection (with at least 256K upload)
6. A webcam
7. USB headset with microphone
Practical Information
An independent interviewer is exactly that, independent to make their business the best it can be by always answering interview invitations promptly, making themselves available for interviews, having the initiative to keep up with the latest in interviewing practice and technology and in their specialist field.
An independent interviewer will set themselves up with their own legal business requirements and be responsible for their own taxes. TalentVX Independent Interviewers are free to proactively approach recruiters or employers to work with them via TalentVX. These may be firms they have worked for previously.
An important point for TalentVX independent interviewers is that they cannot work for a 3rd party recruitment organization whilst acting as TalentVX Independent Interviewers.
What will TalentVX do for me?
TalentVX
collects all payments from TalentVX clients, calculates what you’ve
earned and pays you via PayPal on the first working day after the 15th
of the month for the previous month.
TalentVX promotes your business by making your
experience, qualifications and details, including a short video with your
price per minute, available to TalentVX clients for selection to their
list of approved TalentVX Independent Interviewers which their staff
are allowed to use.
We have a comprehensive “Frequently
Asked Questions” tool and your group leader will be available should
the FAQ not be sufficient to answer your query.
TalentVX will randomly screen Independent
Interviews to ensure that what is promised is delivered and to identify
potential TalentVX Independent Group Leaders.
Before you’re interviewed by TalentVX, you’ll be
asked to propose the price per minute you wish to charge. Below are
some factors you’ll need to consider before proposing your price per
minute:

1. TalentVX deducts a 30% administration fee
2. Once your TalentVX Independent Interviewer application is approved this price can’t be increased for 3 months
3. After the first three months you will be free to raise your price by up to 10% once a month
4. You can drop your price at anytime
5. TalentVX clients (recruiters and employers) that have selected you for their approved list (so their staff can use your services) will only be informed of any price movements once a month in a client update email. If they find your price movement unacceptable for any reason they may choose to remove you from their approved list. You’ll be unaware if this has happened (other than you might get less work) and have no recourse if it does.
6. When establishing your price consider the cost benefits to you (working from home, etc) and the expertise you are offering. Remember, the TalentVX client will have many other Independent Interviewers to select from.
7. TalentVX clients will be looking for interviewing excellence and value
8. Your proposed price will be discussed briefly during your TalentVX application interview
9. If your proposed price is too high TalentVX may choose not to proceed with your application. As with any business, pricing policy is critical to success. It’s important to get pricing very close to right on day one.
